2009 November Chapter Meeting and Check Presentation

Still tired from our October Breast Cancer Awareness Ride - the MSR gang gathered at Perkins to hear the results of our hard work.
We had a special guest presenter from TomBoy Tools and a
Special Presentation from our wonderful friends Barb and George Francis.
((We might be the only ride in 2010 that will be giving away a Barb Francis Quilt!!))

Our fabulous Treasurer - Miss Shari - announced that we had broken a chapter record for the most funds raised...
$12,000 was announced as the proceeds from our event!!!
Half went to the Breast Cancer Network of Strength(R) - Rocky Mountain Region
and half went to the Colorado Springs Affiliate of the Susan G Komen For the Cure(R) Foundation

Six Thousand Dollars donated to the Colorado Springs Affiliate of the Susan G Komen For the Cure(R) Foundation	Barb presented us with our FIRST Donation towards our 10th Anniversary BCA Ride - a special quilt for us to auction off this coming October.
	Now this one will have a special place in my heart and my home. Barb presented a 2nd Quilt - which is my very first - and only - Barb Francis Quilt. Thank you to my "Other Mom" - I love and miss you and "Dad" Very MUCH!
